The 11th Annual Legislative Shoot hosted by the Alaska Correctional Officers Association, Juneau Gun Club, Juneau Archery Club, Juneau Shooting Sports Foundation, Juneau Rifle and Pistol Club, and the Department of Fish and Game, was a great success and enjoyable experience.

Each member of the 3-person team shot trap, silhouette rifle, centerfire pistol, and archery. The first place team was composed of correctional officers Ken Patten, Keith Aki, and Brent Bartlett. Second place was secured by team Muñoz Militia with Rep. Muñoz, Terry Harvey, and Tom Boutin. Approximately 12 legislators, executive branch employees, and legislative staff competed in what has become a Juneau tradition.

The indoor shooting range at Montana Creek is a great asset to the community providing opportunities in hunter education to encourage safe shooting practices. Many thanks to all those who contributed their time, food, and effort in making this a safe, fun event.
