Thayer Creek Hydroelectric Project is critical for the long term economic stability of Angoon and northern southeast region.  A supplemental Environmental Impact Statement has been completed and is waiting a decision, which is scheduled to come out mid to late April. Although there is no official comment period, the United States Forest Service is taking public input.
